By installing or using the Shoplyft Chrome extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Shoplyft is a Chrome browser extension that helps users compare prices of items listed on Facebook Marketplace with similar items on other online marketplaces including eBay, Mercari, and Poshmark. The Service uses AI technology to identify products and find comparable listings.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Usage Limits

The Service includes usage limits based on your subscription plan:

  • Free Plan: 10 price comparisons per day
  • Paid Plans: Higher limits as specified in your plan

Daily limits reset at midnight Central Standard Time (CST). Attempting to circumvent usage limits may result in account suspension.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the extension
  • Use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal use
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service to scrape or harvest data at scale

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Shoplyft and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service accesses data from third-party platforms including Facebook, eBay, Mercari, and Poshmark. We are not affiliated with these platforms and do not control their content. Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy of price comparisons or product matching
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • That the Service will meet your specific requirements

Price information is provided for reference only. Always verify prices and product details directly on the respective marketplace before making purchasing decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHOPLYFT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
